Tachibanakan Triangle to Love Angle to Self-Insert Angle to Ecchi Angle to Comedy Angle

To let’s be honest there’s not a half interesting angle within this show. I wanna start off with a positive and it’s a pretty huge positive in my book. When I watch an anime about high school girls doing cute things my mind always asks the question: “Why is this a normal length series”? And despite realizing that, in most cases, it is a waste of time I continue watching it presumably because I am a masochist… Not true. I mean… I think about it all the time and, truth be told, I have no other answer. So, maybe it is masochism… In which case, I have a lot to think about in terms of how i’m living my life and my way of thinking… My worth as a human being. Well, this is depressing and i’m not depressed! That’s just… I’m okay. Ummm… I…

This is about 6 girls living together and trying to get your pants wet not my life story! What I wanted to say was I appreciate how every episode is only 3-4 minutes long which is appropriate for the goal it sets out to achieve. Plus the shorter duration causes the show to be a little more hurried and frantic. Compositionally, I thought this was beneficial in setting a stylistic identity within the composition. It was similar to “I Can’t What My Husband is Saying?” with its quick-witted comedic timing. Triangle was nowhere near as entertaining but respectable nonetheless. Let’s bring up the main character. Who is he? I’m sorry, who is “she”? The scheme with this character is that she looks androgynous for the sake of being able to appeal to multiple niche audiences. You satisfy the males who want to self-insert themselves into the character and then directly into their own harem. You satisfy yuri fanatics. But let’s be real, we all don’t mind a little girl-on-girl action. Unless you’re gay… Well actually I don’t think even then. I’ve heard gay people, while not sexually attracted to females, still appreciate the body of a woman. Also, boobs are universally loved so… Oppai oppai!

As far as the bits and pieces of the show goes, well, there’s not much. The closest thing to a plot is that there’s a girl the main character sees and is seemingly attracted to her. But she’s a kuudere who finds the MC sexually attractive. But there’s this other girl who is just as interested in the MC. In other words, it’s like a light-hearted love triangle that doesn’t really go anywhere explicit. It’s kind of an episodic endeavor of girl C finding girl A in a weird position with girl B which is what causes that current episode’s misunderstanding which, then, leads to all the girls fucking around for no particular reason. Ummm and that’s the show on an episodic basis. Aaaaand… I guess I don’t really need to explain anything else.

It’s kind of boring, pandering nonsense but it’s only 3 minutes per episode. Not a terrible price to pay for this quality. So, if you’re into slice-of-life cutesy stuff then have at it. ‘Respectable’ is the only positive adjective I can come up with to describe it but it IS respectable. Have fun with that.
